✨ Now providing teletherapy services throughout Illinois. Additional state licensure coming soon!
I earned my Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Ball State University and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Throughout my career, I have worked with children and adolescents across a variety of school and community settings. My professional interests include dyslexia and literacy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism and ADHD, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and bilingual language development.
No two children are alike. Therapy is evidence-based and tailored to each child's unique strengths, challenges, and goals to support continued growth.
Children learn best when they are interested and actively involved. Therapy activities are selected to be age-appropriate, motivating, and connected to each child's interests.
Parents and caregivers are valuable members of the therapy team. Open communication and collaboration help ensure therapy remains practical and relevant to everyday life.
Therapy should fit into real life. Virtual services provide convenient access to support while accommodating busy family schedules.
I enjoy spending time with my husband, whether we're out for a walk or shopping around town. We also enjoy working on our cars together and taking on new projects around the house.
You may find me with a cup of coffee in hand, working on a sewing project, or planning for our next vacation. This year, my husband and I are excited to welcome a Japanese foreign exchange student into our home and share the experience together.
